Implantology
If your own tooth or molar has been lost or has never been there to begin with, an implant can be placed in the bone of the jaw. An implant is an artifical root made of titanium. The implant is stuck because the bone grows against the surface of the implant (osseointegration). Over time, a tooth, molar, bridge or click dentures can be attached to it. This means that separate (removable) facilities are no longer required.
